Facial features are painted in acrylics and shaded/highlighted with colored pencils. Separate ears are sewn in place. Her clothing is not removable. Her hair is Tibetan lamb on the hide. The darted wig is sewn to the head. She has a custom rod and tube stand with wooden base, making removal easy so she can be placed in a seated position. Betty

Betty, 1950s inspired dolls made from my Enigma pattern (breasts added), enlarged (120%). They stand almost 15 inches tall and are made from velour. They have sculpted profile faces and buried bead jointed knees. Hair is kettle-dyed wool yarn. Clothing is not removable. Not for Sale

Claire, made from my Enigma pattern, enlarged (105%). Instead of a cloth trapunto-style face, she has a cloth-covered polymer clay face sewn in place. She stands about 13.5 inches tall (without her wood stand). She's made from a lightweight velour fabric. She has buried bead knee joints. Her hair is Tibetan lamb on the hide. Anne of Green Gables, the third of four experimental designs (later named "Enigma"). She is a OOAK doll, about 13 inches tall. She is made from woven fabric. Her head and upper torso are painted in layers of "Messy Mix." Except for her shoes and bloomers, her clothing is removable. She does not stand independently. A  brass tube has been inserted into her torso so she can be removed from the rod on her stand to be able to sit. She has bead jointed knees. Her hair is crepe wool. Her clothing is not removable. She has a brass tube inserted into her torso, so she is easily removed from her stand and is able to sit. BODY pattern pending

Liliana is an experiment design. She was prototype #1, but since her body shape was particularly long and thin, I knew I wanted to do something different with her. As a personal challenge, I decided to make a Day of the Deal doll. She stands about 15 inches tall when not on her stand. Her body contains a brass tube, so she can be removed from the brass rod on her stand in order to sit. She has a paperclay sculpted head, painted in acrylics. She has separate, applied thumbs. Her clothing is not removable. Her hair is wool yarn. She has button jointed knees.

Pippa is an experiment (prototype #2): a basic doll body design for a paperclay sculpted head. Her head is sculpted in Paperclay (airdry clay), painted in acrylics. She has separate, applied thumbs. Clothing is removable. Her hair is wool yarn. She has bead jointed knees. Approximately 13-1/2 to 14 nches tall.
