Art Doll Round Robin

This was a real "out-of-the-box" assignment for most club members. Many of us had never made an "art doll" before. In January, 2004, we decided to start another Round Robin (a.k.a. bag doll) challenge. Everyone was required to bring an OBJECT, around which the doll would be built. Dolls were kept hidden from their originators for 8 months, and were revealed in August. Journals accompanied the dolls, as well as disposeable cameras. Click on any of the thumbnails. |

Fabric Challenge
 |
Time for another "fabric challenge." This time Dani was the one that put together some packets of multicolored fabric, purple/blue silk (opinions differed as to the color), beads, trims and lace. Jeannie contributed some optional skin fabric - Windsor Comfort. |

Hands-on dolls: cloth over mask
 |
In January, Judi provided us with a hands-on cloth-over-mask project. We each covered our masks during the meeting, then had to complete the doll for the next month's challenge. Many chose to use the vintage boudoir doll pattern "Four French Girls." |
