Doll No. 451 Oct., 2016 |
Pumpkinhead is adapted from an old pattern from the book "On
Making, Mending, and Dressing Dolls" by Clara Hallard Fawcett, copyright
1949. I've used this pattern once before for a doll club challenge, and was
disappointed at how hideously mis-shapen the head was after sewing and
stuffing it - so I turned the doll into a pumpkin using paperclay-over-cloth
pumpkin head doll. I liked how that doll turned out, so I decided to make
another. I designed her clothing to be removable. SOLD |
