Hibbs asked me to design a Godmother doll (and pattern), depicting one of the characters
in her book Cinderella's Daughter. Godmother is about 15 inches tall, and is
made of dyed woven fabric. Her face is an iron-on transfer, her hair is wool
roving. Her fingers are wired, so she can hold her magic wand. Her slippers
are removable, dress is not. She has attached ears, and wears star buttons for
earrings. Click on the thumbnail to the left to purchase the book.
SOLD Pattern available here The book is currently available at Amazon.com: Cinderella and the Prince have a baby named Belinda. She becomes unbearably selfish and rude. The brokenhearted Prince and Cinderella admit they have unwittingly pampered their little princess. After trying to remedy their parenting errors without success, they turn to Cinderella's fairy godmother. Godmother's magical cottage becomes animated to help Belinda learn royal manners and unselfish behavior more befitting one who will become a ruler. |
